We have a full, in-house, Connecticut based support team built around hands-on experience on the roof, in the electrical rooms, at the table with the utilities, municipal inspectors, and system owners. We enjoy and take pride in providing our clients with state of the art solar systems that will bring years of sustainable energy production.
Glenn Cucinell is a graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, CT where he studied architecture. Glenn is currently the manager of the Solar Energy Division at Encon Indoor Comfort and Energy Solutions with responsibility for business development, sales and marketing of solar systems. He also serves as a photovoltaic solar system designer and consultant. Prior to joining Encon, Glenn owned and operated his own solar business and has spent the last seven years designing and installing photovoltaic solar systems throughout Connecticut and New York State. Glenn has designed and installed over a megawatt of PV before joining Encon as Solar Division Manager.
Alex started with Encon Solar in 2014 after completing a PV Installer training course at The Industrial Management and Training Institute in Waterbury, CT. After passing the NABCEP PV Entry Level Exam and demonstrating his commitment to excellence as an installer, he is now working to pass projects from design to build by processing permits, interconnection applications, ordering parts, and coordinating with sub-contractors. He has a background in small business from years as a manager in bicycle shops, and a BA in Anthropology from Reed College in Portland, Oregon.
Alex provides support to our sales and management teams, provides design and engineering for all of our systems, helps coordinates and implement marketing, outreach, and business development events and maintains our website and social media. He graduated from SUNY Canton with a Bachelors of Engineering Technology in Alternative and Renewable Energy Systems. Alex was the founder and president of the SUNY Canton student Chapter of the United States Green Builders Council.
Growing up working on the farm and constantly fishing or camping, Tim has always been a dedicated advocate of environmental conservation. He graduated from ECSU with a B.S. in Environmental Earth Science at the end of 2009. Since then he has specialized in consulting for residential solar projects ranging from 5kW to 76kW. He unvaryingly utilizes the latest technologies to help people obtain their own custom renewable energy systems.
Anna continuously looks for innovative ways to bring Encon Solar to the residents of Connecticut and Southern New York. With a degree in Marketing and International Studies from Pennsylvania State University, Anna Started her career in digital marketing in New Jersey and then New York. she then took a break from marketing and ventured into government translating which took her exploring across the United States. She returned to further her marketing career with Encon full of fresh ideas and brings a different flavor to the solar team. Outside of her marketing prowess, she assists with the residential rebate process and day-to-day operations. Anna is a new resident to Connecticut and is excited to be a part of the Encon Team
Aaron is currently the lead installer for Encon Inc. He is a NABCEP Certified Solar Installer and has held a PV-1 License in Connecticut for over 4 years. He has been installing solar electric systems for over 6 years. He has completed over 100 hundred residential installations and dozens of commercial projects ranging from 15kW to 745kW.
Tom is a licensed E-1 Electrician in the state of Connecticut and has been for over 6 years. He is a full-time employee of Encon Inc. and has been completing the AC wiring portion of all of Encon’s solar electric installations. He is an integral part of our solar installation team. He has worked across the state and is familiar with commercial size installations as well as residential.
Encon’s additional staff of over 150 engineers, designers, electricians, installers, schedulers, buyers and skilled laborers all work in concert to support our solar energy projects.
